  • Believed to be a Peasgood Nonsuch, Ribston Pippin cross raised by J Allgrove, manager of Langley Nurseries. Grown as an exhibition apple for it makes a large size, colour can range from plain pale green to having a mottling of red orange stripes, which can become dense.
